Today, he serves as the National Coordinator for Fingerprint Examination within the Romanian Police, overseeing fingerprint examination activities and ensuring the consistent application of forensic standards at the national level. He also coordinates the Romanian Police's Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) and Facial Recognition (FR) system, supporting the use of advanced biometric technologies in criminal investigations and public security.
He is the Project Manager for the unification of the Romanian Police Biometric Systems, he leads one of Romania's most significant biometric modernization initiatives, focused on integrating fingerprint and facial recognition capabilities into a unified, interoperable with other European and international systems biometric ecosystem.
