Ms. Monfreda is a Critical Solutions Project Manager with Mission Critical Partners, LLC (MCP). She has participated in several large-scale improvements to computerized criminal history (CCH) systems, automated biometric identification systems (ABIS), message switching systems (MSS), and related subsystems. She was formerly with the Alaska Department of Public Safety for 26 years; first as the Chief of the Criminal Records and Identification Bureau and later as Division Director for the Division of Statewide Services. She was the CJIS Systems Officer, Compact Officer, Western Identification Network Board Member and Search Representative for the State of Alaska. She also served with the Alaska State Trooper Crime Laboratory and the Anchorage, AK Police Department as a Latent Print Examiner/Crime Scene Examiner and has participated in several AFIS/ABIS procurements, upgrades, and implementations. Kathy has an excellent record for securing federal grants on behalf of several states nationally.
