Christie is currently a Forensic Technician (tenprint examiner) for the Nebraska State Patrol. Prior to this, Christie was an AFIS IT Business Analyst and a Forensic Technician Supervisor at the Nebraska State Patrol and a police officer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department. Christie has been working in the tenprint field for fifteen years and serves as the Chair of the IAI Tenprint Identification Science and Practice Subcommittee. She is also a member of the OSAC Friction Ridge Subcommittee and the IAI Tenprint Certification Board.
