Christie is currently a Forensic Technician (tenprint examiner) for the Nebraska State Patrol. Prior to this, Christie was an AFIS IT Business Analyst and a Forensic Technician Supervisor at the Nebraska State Patrol and a police officer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department. Christie has been working in the tenprint field for fifteen years and serves as the Chair of the IAI Tenprint Identification Science and Practice Subcommittee, is a member of the OSAC Friction Ridge Subcommittee and the IAI Tenprint Certification Board.
