Brendan is a forensic-specialist attorney with a primary interest in data-driven research. His research and litigation involving DNA, fingerprints, and gunshot detection has resulted in critical findings concerning method validity and breaking points. In addition to translating this research into success in court, Brendan has published impactful articles at the intersection of law and forensic science, including two articles on forensic fingerprints. Brendan also provides training to attorneys and forensic examiners across the country. In his free time, Brendan is the Lead Data Analyst for the University of Chicago men’s soccer team.
